Different Lenses on a Shared Reality, Signature Series

As anyone familiar with Canadian history will know, people shaped by different cultural backgrounds can interpret the same facts in very different ways. TALQ, in collaboration with the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada, will host a panel exploring these perspectives, highlighting the importance of considering multiple viewpoints and deepening our understanding of what shapes Quebec today. Moderated by the CBC’s Ainslie MacLellan, featured panelists will include Stéphane Dion, former Liberal Party leader, diplomat, and academic, and Frédéric Lapointe, President of the Mouvement National des Québécoises et Québécois and professor of history at l’Université de Montréal and Lorraine O'Donnell a Senior Research Manager at Concordia University's QUESCREN and holds a PhD in History from McGill.
